Association Between Hemoglobin Levels and Quality of Life in Patients Undergoing Chronic Hemodialysis

Introduction: Anemia is a global problem that can be found almost all over the world. most common complication in patients undergoing chronic hemodialysis which affect quality of life. Health-related life factor correlates with morbidity, mortality, and patient care costs. This study aimed to assess correlation between hemoglobin levels hemodialysis. Methods: was cross-sectional consecutive sampling 92 research subjects conducted November-December 2022 at installation Dr. Soetomo General Academic Hospital. used SF-36 questionnaire instrument divided into 8 domains.Results: Of samples have been collected, 54 were male (58.7%) while 42 female (41.3%). The average age this 47.55 years old. highest level education senior high school graduates total 40 people (43.5%). Hemoglobin range 7–3.9 g/dl an 9.70±1.63.
